Men's Ministry
Our mission is to bring men of all ages, to the knowledge of who God is, their need for salvation, and their God given responsibilities in the Home, the Church, and the Community.
Spiritual Growth & Life Lessons Class: Every 4th Sunday- 10:00a.m.
Purpose
1. FAITH- The Men's Ministry is made up of men who desire to live their lives walking by faith, and not by sight. Through this faith, we recognize our need to lift up the name of Jesus Christ, submit to the will of Jesus Christ, make Jesus Christ the first and foremost priority in our lives, and through all of this, reflect the image of Jesus Christ in our daily living. We can do all things through Him, and NOTHING without Him.
2. FAMILY- Through an increase in our faith and reliance on Jesus Christ, we strive to have strong, vibrant marriages that reflect the love of Jesus Christ and cement the union between God, man & woman that God intended. A goal of the Men's Ministry is to help each other learn how to be spiritual leaders, providers, and the protectors of our households, all with a Christ-Centered focus.
3. FATHERHOOD- We believe that we are responsible for the Godly rearing of our children. We are to train and raise our children with a reverence for the Lord. Psalms 103:13- 'As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear Him.' And who fears the Lord? Those who love AND obey Him. It is our desire to rear our children in a manner that successfully prepares them for life. This success can only come from a Christ-centered submission to the will of God. We desire to be that Godly influence in our homes and to our children, that God created us to be.
4. FELLOWSHIP- Finally, we want to help increase the Kingdom of God in quality and quantity by exemplifying our Christ-like life and our sharing of the Word of God. We acknowledge the need for each other and the unity that comes from fellowship focused on uplifting and strengthening each other through the Word of God and time spent in the presence of God and each other.
'Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a mature man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.' - Ephesians 4:13 (Scripture reference NKJV)
